Raffles

I think that raffles are kind of silly, because when you enter a raffle and you don't know what you're going to get, or if you're going to get anything, what's the point? If you pay for your raffle ticket, and you could pay the same amount of money for something at the store, why not just go to the store and get it instead of getting a raffle ticket when you don't know if you'll get the thing you want?

Also, at some raffles you can only get one prize. Even if you buy a ton of tickets, and your name gets called multiple times, you still only get one prize, when you could have gotten, like, five.

I think some reasons why people do raffles are because they want to get a prize, but also a lot of the time because they want to help pay for the event that the raffle is at, or, I don't know, there are a lot of reasons.
